Week1 - Moran Excavating began with brush clearing and major site work that expanded the parking lot adjacent to the lobby on the second floor. A driveway connecting the upper and lower parking lots was created.

Week2 & Week2a - The parking lot adjacent to the Paine Turnpike driveway was expanded and the foundation for the expansion was dug. The entrance was closed as the entry ramp was removed to make way for the addition. Most boulders were could be removed by truck. A few were too large and had to be broken by Maine Dilling & Blasting for removal. Culverts for drainage and gravel for the foundation were put in place.

Week3 & Week3a - Gendron Concrete poured the foundation and reinforcing bars for the walls were installed. Forms were erected to hold the coming concrete. Vermont Concrete Cutting handled removal of the "front porch" that once led to the lobby.

The project was "on hold" after pouring the walls as the Chamber awaited detailed drawings of the floor structure. Those designs would dictate where reinforced pads would be placed in the slab.
