Amtrak's Vermonter

Daily Passenger Service To Montpelier, Waterbury and Randolph, VT

Amtrak accepts a number of special items such as sports and camping equipment, bicycles, golf bags, musical instruments, skis (one per bag), etc. In most cases there is a handling charge. Bicycles must normally be in containers provided by the passenger or Amtrak; certain trains can handle bicycles not in containers; a reservation for this space is usually required for which a nominal charge is made.

Ask when making your reservation, and use the opportunity to let us know what special services you require. So that you can provide all relevant information to the booking agent, reserve by telephone or at one of our ticket offices rather than at our web site. In order to assist you with your particular travel plans we ask that you call 1-800-USA RAIL (1-800-872-7245). Enter the number 0 to bypass the automated voice prompts.

Daily trains to/from the entire eastern seaboard including Boston, New York and Washington D.C. Perfect for a quick get away to Vermont without the drive!

To schedule a trip please see the Amtrak's automated schedule maker.
